In her first year as a full-time Realtor, Sarah Brothers closed on more than $2 million worth of business for Griffin Company Realtors.

Intending to become a doctor, Brothers attended the University of Arkansas as a pre-med psychology major in 1993. Her goals changed, however, when she got married during her junior year and had her first baby during her senior year. After graduating in 1997. Brothers decided to stay home with her children while her husband attended physical therapy school.

Brothers obtained her real estate license in 2000 to make real estate investments for her family and to help her father Phillip Taldo, co-owner of Griffin Co. With both of her children in school, she joined the company full time in 2004 and by 2005 had won the Arkansas Realtors Association Silver Level Award of Excellence.

Brothers watched her parents participate in community activities throughout her childhood. She now serves as secretary on the Arts Center of the Ozarks board and treasurer for the Springdale city-wide Parent-Teacher Association. This year, she plans to close on over $3 million worth of business for Griffin. In the next five years, Brothers would like to own a development company and possibly run for political office.
