Former KHBS/KHOG Anchor Moon Appears on ’48 Hours’

Melanie Moon, a former news anchor and reporter for KHBS/KHOG, Channels 40/29, in Fayetteville and Fort Smith, was featured on CBS Television’s “48 Hours” news magazine on April 23.

Moon, who now works for KPLR, Channel 11 (also known as “WB11”) in St. Louis, was included in a segment about TV news personalities who had been stalked. Moon was stalked by David Duff of Lynchburg, Va., when she anchored the morning and noon newscasts at WDBJ TV in Roanoke, Va. Since then, Duff was arrested and served with a restraining order. Moon moved from Roanoke to St. Louis in May 2000.
