Internet video streamer ic-all.com wants to expand into Northwest Arkansas. The St. Louis company is still developing a local sales team, but establishing a base here within the year is a real possibility.

The firm, which provides secure, real-time live video to PCs via its Internet-based Global Surveillance Systems, got its start in 1992 as an online surveillance company. Raymond Lifka, now ic-all.com’s chief technology officer, said the firm is recruiting sales reps nationwide to act as independent contractors.

Examples of the product’s applications include monitoring child care givers from work, security checks on multiple store locations, monitoring household security on a laptop computer and real-time video conferencing.

Ic-all.com even offers remote-control zoom cameras that can be switched via the Internet to offer various angles. These cameras previously sold for more than $10,000, but are now available with a switcher for about $2,500.
