Bentonville Lights Up

John Denson, owner of Stogie’s Fine Cigars Tobaccos and Much More in the Old Post Office building on the Fayetteville Square, will be opening a new store soon in Bentonville.

Meanwhile, Rick Sherman, who owns Stogie’s Fines Cigars & Tobaccos at 11 Halstead Circle in Rogers has closed that store to pursue his other business interests, which include selling products to Sam’s Club warehouse stores. Sherman held a liquidation of the store March 10.

Denson has owned the Fayetteville Stogie’s for three and a half years. His daughter, Kate Smith, had helped Sherman with the Rogers store and will now co-manage the remaining locations.

Denson hopes to open the Bentonville location in either late April or early May. He also hopes to have the store at Wedington Plaza across from AQ Chicken House on S. Walton Boulevard.
