The Bella Vista Baptist Church got a $1.5 million loan Jan. 25 from Bank of Bentonville to remodel and expand its facilities at 50 E. Lancashire Blvd. in Bella Vista. Construction is set to begin March with a completion date of November expected by the general contractor, ConArk Builders of Rogers.
The 28,000-SF addition will double the church’s educational space and add a large fellowship hall that will seat 450 people. New additions will also include a stage, elevator, classrooms and the remodeling of a nursery and administrative offices.
Cooper Communities Inc. donated 11 acres adjacent to Bella Vista Baptist Church’s existing property earlier this year that allowed room for expansion.
The Benham Group in Bella Vista is the architect. The church has a congregation of about 600.
