Marshalltown Tools Adds Distribution Space

Marshalltown Tools is spending $1.23 million to add 45,000-SF of space to its distribution facilities at 2364 Armstrong Road in Fayetteville’s Industrial Park. Paul Pinneo, president of Marshalltown’s Fayetteville division, is overseeing the expansion.
A subsidiary of Marshalltown Trowel Co. of Marshalltown, Iowa, the local company is in the middle of reorganizing its packing and shipping processes. The expansion will allow Marshalltown to incorporate a variety of new conveyor belts and carousels that are expected to make its shipping more efficient.
SSI Inc. of Springdale is the general contractor. The building is supposed to be completed in April, and the new systems are expected to be operational by June.
