Dayco Products Inc. of Springdale is expanding its plant at 2300 S. Arkansas Highway 265 in Springdale from 54,000 SF to 100,000 SF. Thanks to an overwhelming demand for its front-end accessory drive components, which include its belt tensioners, Dayco will also increase its number of employees from 150 to 275 over the next three years.
Plant manager Dan Bekebrede says the growth is due to market penetration and good relationships with Ford Motor Co., General Motors Corp., DaimlerChrysler and Toyota Motor Corp.
