In May, Matthew Sanders opened Mobile Waiters to provide delivery service for restaurants to diners in Fayetteville and part of Springdale.

Eight Fayetteville restaurants currently participate in the program: Marketplace Express, Cable Car Pizza, Chili’s Grill & Bar, La Huerta Mexican Restaurant, Panda Chinese Restaurant, Back Porch Bar-B-Que, Cheeburger Cheeburger and Quizno’s Classic Subs. Other restaurants may soon be added to the list, Sanders says.

Sanders recently completed a master’s degree in kinesiology at the University of Arkansas, where he was a volunteer coach for the Razorback baseball team.

He describes Mobile Waiters as “a marketing and dispatch company. Everything is done through us.”

Mobile Waiters charges $5 for a delivery, and there’s a $10 minimum order required In most cases. (A 15 percent gratuity will be added to orders of $50 or more.) Mobile Waiters attempts to deliver within an hour after receiving an order.

Mobile Waiters delivers lunch between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. The business delivers dinner between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. seven days a week.
