Charlton in Charge of New Office Complex

John W. Charlton’s new 15,500-SF office building at the corner of S.E. “J” Street and 22nd Street in Bentonville should be completed by July 1.
That’s when a vendor to Wal-Mart Stores Inc. plans to move into the new $720,000 complex. The building is on a 1.5-acre lot in front of Charlton’s Walnut Valley Subdivision and will be called Walnut Park I. It’s just across 22nd Street from the new 6,500-SF offices of Charlton Development Co. LLC that will occupy Walnut Park II.
Charlton is moving his company there from its current offices at 2705 W. Olive St. in Rogers. He signed for the loan March 5 from Arkansas National Bank in Bentonville.
About 2,000 of space SF remains available for tenants interested in leasing space in Walnut Park II.
