Dan Sidani, manager of Beaver Lake Lodge, operates Beaver Lake Canoe & Kayak from the lodge’s facilities. Sidani says he opened the business to provide a source of inexpensive outdoor recreation for the area.

In addition to the canoe and kayak rentals, Sidani is also an authorized dealer for Ocean Kayak. He says he’s had more than 10 years’ experience in paddling and worked as a raft guide in Colorado. He believes the Ocean Kayak is one of the safest and easiest to operate kayaks available.

Canoes and kayaks may be rented by the hour, half-day or full day. Full-day rental is $20 for a canoe and $25 for a kayak. Depending on his availability, it is sometimes possible to arrange drop-off and pick-up services for customers, Sidani says.
