Malico way to go for busy businesses
For 10 years, Northwest Arkansas companies and institutions have contracted out with Mailco USA Inc. for their mail-service needs. The family owned business at 2729 N. Drake St. in Fayetteville allows its customers to eliminate the need for in-house mail rooms, equipment, maintenance and personnel.
“We pick up our clients’ mail every day, sort it, bar code it and it’s ready to go when we get it to the post office,” says Kathy Ferguson, one of Mailco’s owners. “Because we handle so much mail, we receive a discount and split that with our customers. So basically they’re having us do all the work and saving money on every piece of mail that goes through.”
Ferguson and her co-owners — husband Roger and her parents, Bob and Jan Susong — pride themselves on offering the newest services to their customers. The latest thing is mail-list processing, a service that brings companies into bulk- rate compliance by making sure every address listed is correct.
Among the companies currently receiving Mailco’s presorted first-class mail service are Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers, Washington Regional Medical Center and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville; and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Bates Medical Center in Bentonville.
Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale and the Arvest Bank Group in Lowell use Mailco’s standard mail services.
