The Holiday Inn of Northwest Arkansas’s new general manager has arrived. Mike Chouri, who most recently was director of operations for another John Q. Hammons hotel, Chateau on the Lake in Branson, Mo., arrived Jan. 18. He’s reportedly doing a two-week stint with the Springdale hotel’s outgoing manager, Bill Bretches, who leaves soon to manage another Hammons hotel, one in Grapevine, Texas.

Chouri’s appointment is actually a return to Springdale. He was the first general manager for the Holiday Inn’s neighbor, Hampton Inn & Suites, which is also part of the Hammons chain.
