Superior Linen Service has moved its operations to Springdale after purchasing a building at 1648 E. Mountain Road for $1 million.

Cintas Corp., an industrial uniform rental, cleaning and sales company, sold the building and four acres to Superior on June 25. The deed was signed by John S. Kean as senior vice president of Cintas and Robert Coletti as assistant secretary of the company.

The purchase was financed with a $1 million mortgage from NationsBank. The mortgage was issued to Superior Realty LLC of Tulsa, Okla., a company formed for the purchase. The loan was signed by Douglas R. Waldman as a member of the LLC and vice president of Superior Linen Service.

The 36,140-SF building was built in 1986. The building was appraised in 1994 for $841,650.

Cintas moved its operations to a new building the company built at 580 Monitor Road in Springdale.

Superior Linen is based in Tulsa. The company has four locations in Oklahoma and two in Arkansas. Superior has an office in Fort Smith in addition to the Springdale location. Superior previously was located at 326 N. West Ave. in Fayetteville.
