The former Superior Linen Service building at 326 N. West Ave. in Fayetteville was purchased June 11 with a $280,000 mortgage from McIlroy Bank & Trust.
The mortgage was issued to The Bakery Building LLC. It was signed by David Buckley and John Tyson as members of B.T. Properties LLC and Gregory T. House as trustee of the Gregory T. House Revokable Trust and a member of East Avenue Investment Group LLC.
The investors bought the property from Gilbert D. Waldman for $265,000. Waldman had bought the building from Razorback Uniform and Linen in 1986 for $200,000.
The 10,420-SF building was built in 1926. The investors plan to spend about $800,000 renovating the building into retail, restaurant, office and apartment space. Construction is scheduled to begin in August and be completed in about six months.
Superior Linen has moved to a larger building in Springdale.
