Candidates Hutchinson, Ross to Speak in Bentonville on Sept. 30

Arkansas gubernatorial candidates Asa Hutchinson (R) and Mike Ross (D) will participate in a candidate forum Sept. 30 at the Arend Arts Center on the campus of Bentonville High School.
The event is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public. It is the only scheduled forum in Benton County between the two candidates prior to the election on November 4.
The Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce. Voters will hear the candidates’ positons on education, early childhood development, taxes, economic development and their vision for Arkansas.
Wal-Mart Stores Inc., SourceGas, Southwestern Electric Power Co., Sam’s Club and Bentonville Public Schools are sponsoring the event.
