Yonker on Board as President of SVIs Learner Mobile

SVI, the Springdale-based training products and services company, has hired Mike Yonker as president of its Learner Mobile division.
Learner Mobile essentially is a Web-based app that provides SVI clients the ability to access customized training, development and/or leadership material via smartphones and tablets.
“We’re not sticking courses on a phone or tablet,” Yonker said in a company-issued news release. “We’re building training and apps that make existing training investments more valuable and measurable.”
According to the release, Yonker has mobile technology experience with companies like The Nielsen Co., Texas Instruments and Rockfish Interactive. Learner Mobile launched last year, and is in use by almost 100 companies, SVI stated, including Dillard’s Inc. and Tyson Foods Inc.
Yonker will be based in Dallas, where SVI began leasing office space in January.
