A building undergoing renovations at 15 N. Church Ave. in Fayetteville will bring Modus Studio’s design offices and shop together under one roof.

According to loopnet.com, the original 6,689-SF structure was built in 1955. It had been listed on weichert.com for $399,900.

The architectural firm currently leases office space in the E.J. Ball Building, with its workshop located elsewhere in Fayetteville.

Chris Baribeau, Modus’ principal architect, said the building will include offices of Specialized Real Estate Group, which is currently based in Springdale.

SREG is headed by Jeremy Hudson, Seth Mims and Corey Runnels, and focuses on multifamily housing.

The two companies have partnered on several projects, including Eco Modern Flats, Sterling Frisco and the planned West Center apartment complex.

Firms working on the Modus building include HP Engineering Inc., Hudson Engineering, Integrated Solution Group and Empirical Energy Solutions.

Modus also has been busy designing the men’s and women’s locker rooms for the Razorback basketball teams. The men’s locker room was completed late last year, and construction on the women’s is due to start near the end of their season.

In addition, construction will soon begin on the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ Pat and Willard Walker Student Clinical Education Center, designed by Modus.

And the firm was recently awarded the University of Arkansas Klipsch Amphitheatre improvements project at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs.
