A piece of Gene Cauley’s real estate holdings is under new ownership after a nearly $2.4 million foreclosure sale in Saline County.

First Tennessee Bank of Memphis recovered more than 12.7 acres of undeveloped commercial land in Bryant. The property is northeast of the Reynolds Road exit of Interstate 30, near the Logan’s Roadhouse at 23115 I-30.

The property was owned by Cauley’s Coco Bryant Holdings LLC. The commissioner’s deed indicates that Heartland Community Bank of Bryant had an unspecified claim on the land.

The 2011 foreclosure sale follows First Tennessee obtaining a $2.68 million judgment against the limited liability company in September.

In other Cauley-related happenings, Allied Bank of Mulberry recovered about 100 acres in west Pulaski County from Cauley’s SEC WLR Holdings II LLC in a $1.37 million foreclosure sale.
