Fayetteville Firms Collect Government Contract Work
Fayetteville-based Space Photonics announced during the last week of March it has begun work on five new projects totaling $2.8 million.
Follow-on phases for the programs could be worth more than $7 million, cumulatively.
The programs were awarded by the Office of Naval Research and two NASA centers, among others. Most of them deal with Space Photonics’ ongoing work in the elimination of reverse engineering.
Virtual Incubation Co., meanwhile, announced last month it has been awarded a $100,000 contract to help NASA identify cutting-edge medical technologies that have strong commercial potential.
VIC is a technology venture development firm, also based in Fayetteville.
