Noted Mixed-Used Space in Fayetteville Gains a Friend

We’re not sure it’s exactly what the developers of Bellafont originally had in mind, but these days it probably qualifies as progress.

Bellafont, of course, is the mixed-use project located on Joyce Boulevard in Fayetteville. Initially pitched as a home for upscale retail destinations, among other things, Bellafont largely has fizzled.

Home to successful enterprises like Masons and Mellow Mushroom, but little else, Bellafont is about to get a new tenant – in the form of a liquor store. As we understand it, Jimmy Rapert and the other owners of Westside Liquor plan to move its license to a space at Bellafont.

The move is due largely to the fact Rapert and Co. operate Premier Wine & Spirits, which essentially is across the street from Westside Liquor.
