Wicked For Sale – Sort of

Fayetteville aviator and inventor Wayne Woolsey has put his firearm safety and game recovery equipment business on the market to see if he gets any bites.

Wayne’s Wicked Enterprises is listed for sale for $1.49 million but Woolsey said it’s “for sale and it’s not for sale.”

Woolsey, who started the company in 2004, said several leaders in the industry have told him his hunting products are marketable to larger companies.

“After talking to people who know more than I do, I think it’s a smart thing to do,” he said.

Woolsey said he plans to “wait and see what happens” while continuing to work at getting his products on store shelves.

“You’ve got to have a lot of poles in the water,” he said.

If the company does sell, Woolsey said he has plans to invent and develop several more products in the future.
