DaySpring Offers Blessings Unlimited
DaySpring Cards of Siloam Springs has created a new company called Blessings Unlimited.
The manufacturer of Christian greeting cards announced the new business as a direct sale company. Blessings Unlimited offers a product line that includes personal gifts, home décor and jewelry.
Blessings Unlimited targets women looking for part-time work at home-based businesses.
Tim Ward, spokesman for Dayspring, said joining requires a $159 investment, which entitles consultants to $400 of product and materials. Consultants then keep 25 percent of gross sales from home parties, or “Gatherings.”
Ward said Blessings Unlimited employs seven people. Some were new hires and some switched from other positions with DaySpring.
DaySpring employs 500 people and sells items through 10,000 retail outlets worldwide. It was founded in 1971 and purchased by Hallmark Cards Inc. in 1999. Kansas City-based Hallmark is privately owned, but did report revenue of $4.1 billion for 2006.
