Kobe to Open Second Sushi Grill
Soonae Lee and Sang Choi will open their second Kobe Japanese Restaurant in Fayetteville in November, Lee said.
The 3,400-SF restaurant will be located at the Steel Crossing retail center at CMN Business Park where Pizza Inn operated. Pizza Inn closed early this year and last paid Fayetteville HMR taxes in January for $6,800.
Lee said the second restaurant will be twice the size of the Bentonville location. It will seat about 100 diners and have 15 employees.
The restaurant will have a sushi bar and hibachi grills. Lunch specials range from $6 to $11, and dinner specials average about $12, Lee said.
The Bentonville restaurant has been open since November 2004 and had $219,894 in food sales last year, according to the city’s tax records. For the first six months of 2006, the restaurant had $138,835 in sales.
