West End Lofts Continue Leasing As Space Fills

To all the naysayers who doubted the new luxury lofts in downtown Fort Smith would be a hit, West End Lofts is filling up fast.
The complex, which features a gated remote access entry and stainless steel appliances, started renting out apartments as they became available beginning in February. The lofts are completed and there are already waiting lists for the one-bedroom apartments.
Joanie Hutchins, property director of the lofts, said there is a four-month waiting list for the smaller, 864-SF bedrooms and a six-month waiting list for the larger, 938-SF bedrooms. One-bedroom apartments range from $650 to $750 per month.
The two-bedroom apartments aren’t filling up as fast, but Hutchins said there’s only five out of the 12 available. The 1,269-SF apartments range from $995 to $1,200 per month.
West End Lofts were developed by ERC Properties Inc. of Fort Smith and are managed by ERC Management Group.
