Arkansas Lottery Commission to meet in Fort Smith

The Sebastian County Bar Association has announced it will host a meeting of the Arkansas Lottery Commission, 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., March 15, at the Holiday Inn City Center in downtown Fort Smith.
The agenda includes comments from Bishop Woosley, general counsel for the Lottery Commission, and Lance Huey, the Commission’s director of security. Janet Lawrence, general counsel for the Arkansas Department of Higher Education, will also speak about the department’s thoughts and opinions about the Lottery and its impact on education.
Other speakers for the meeting include Richard Hudson, vice chancellor for government and community Relations for the University of Arkansas system; and Dr. Paul Beran, chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.
