Forty Under 40: Clint Penzo
Tontitown native Clint Penzo said success in real estate is achieved through determination.
“It’s one of those businesses that you have to stick with and put in a lot of hours,” he said.
Penzo graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2004 with a degree in physical therapy and earth science.
He worked for five years as a physical therapist at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital in Fayetteville before leaving to pursue a career in real estate.
“My father was in real estate for 39 years,” Penzo said. “He encouraged me to get my degree and I decided to come work with him at Re/Max.”
Last year, the Penzo Group ranked sixth in the state with $13.2 million in sales, and fifth in the state with 136 transactions.
Penzo also started a construction business with a partner about a year ago. Penzo Custom Homes focuses on green, energy-efficient homes.
“Once I got into construction, I felt I needed to build energy-efficient homes that utilize renewable energy sources to supplement our traditional energy needs,” he said.
Penzo said his five-year goal is to remain one of the top agents in Northwest Arkansas and expand his construction business to be one of the bigger builders in the area.
Penzo said he enjoys giving back to the community. He donates a portion of every check from every transaction to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation. He’s also a member of the Fayetteville Northside Rotary.
