The Arkansas Realtors Association has created new guidelines and a new awards system for agent achievement for 2003 transactions.

The Awards for Excellence will replace the previous Million Dollar Club awards and will have five different levels, according to the ARA.

Previous applicants qualified by closing on $1 million worth of listings. Individual and team applicants will now try to qualify for the excellence honors in any one of the five categories: listings, sales, volume, income and leasing, and property management.

To qualify for the first level, bronze, the applicant must have closed on a minimum of 20 properties or more, with a listing-closed volume of $1 million.

The silver level requires $2 million in closed listings, $3.5 million reaches the gold, $5 million is for platinum, and it will take $7 million worth of closed listings to reach the diamond level.
