Residents of Altus (Franklin County) are apparently being tormented and entertained again by Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, stars of the Fox Television series “The Simple Life,” which has been filming in Altus.
The two women recently returned to Arkansas to “do some final reshoots and takes” for the show, according to a blurb in The New York Post.
“They think it’s really funny how they are wearing all these cool, glamorous clothes out in the middle of nowhere,” the newspaper quoted an alleged Hollywood insider as saying. “They get a big laugh out of it.”
Filming ended a week earlier than expected two months ago after Richie, the daughter of singer Lionel Richie, got into a bar brawl and the producers decided on a cooling-off period.
“The Simple Life” will begin airing on Fox on Aug. 13.
