New Building Planned for Spring Creek Centre
Clary Development Corp. of Little Rock plans to start construction this month on a 78,355-SF shopping center in the Spring Creek Centre development in north Fayetteville.
Clary Development received an $850,000 mortgage from First Arkansas Valley Bank of Russellville on Dec. 22. The note was signed by Roger Clary as president of the company.
The company plans to build the center on about nine acres between the National Home Center building and the Wal-Mart Superstore. Construction is expected to take about six months.
About 80 percent of the space has been leased already. Tenants planned for the center to include a Goody’s family clothing store, which will occupy more than 30,000 SF, and a Factory Card Outlet Store, which sells greeting cards and party supplies and has leased 12,000 SF. A DollarTree store, which specializes in selling items for $1, has leased 4,500 SF; Cato’s, a retail women’s clothing store, has leased 4,600 SF; U.S. $1.79 Dry Cleaners has leased 2,800 SF; and Pro Nails, a nail salon, will occupy 1,625 SF.
