The Fayetteville-Springdale Elks Lodge No. 1987 held its annual elections of officers on Feb. 28. Despite a record turnout of 210 voters, there was no recount necessary and results were finalized that night.

Incumbent Exalted Ruler Frank Kerr of Kerr Properties retained his role. The E.R. position is equivalent to president of the the lodge. Kerr will be starting his third term as E.R. April 1.

Dennis Tune of Tune Concrete Products Co. won a spot on the Elks’ trustees, joining chairman Phil Mayo, Jim Stockland, Harvey Smith and Michael Wilson.

One of the most popular clubs for business people in Northwest Arkansas, the Elks Lodge has grown to just shy of 1,000 members in the last couple of years. The lodge is located at 4444 N. Crossover Road in Fayetteville.
