New Shopping Center Coming To Farmington
A 21,000-SF shopping center is being built in Farmington with a $745,000 mortgage from the Bank of Lincoln.
Brock’s Inc. received the loan Aug. 10. It was signed by Othnile Brockman as president of the company and Twyla Brockman as secretary.
Construction began in August of the shopping center in the Southwinds commercial subdivision at the intersection of Southwinds and Cimmarron streets in Farmington. Work is scheduled for completion by March.
Fred’s Super Dollar Store and Pharmacy has leased 16,000 SF of the new shopping center and plans to open a store when the construction is complete. The store will include a garden center and drive-through pharmacy. The remaining space in the shopping center will be leased.
Brock’s also owns two car washes in Farmington. The company built the B-Clean Car Wash in May and bought Swifts Car Wash in August. The company also owns residential rental property in the area.
