John Pearson, who opened Play It Again Sam’s and sold it last winter, plans to open another Dickson Street restaurant that will feature pizza, sandwiches and 200 different kinds of beer – 70 of them on tap.

Pearson is currently renovating the 3,000-SF building at 408 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville as the location of Brewski’s, which he plans to open by mid-September. The new eatery/beer hall is strategically located in a section between two of the street’s better known drinking establishments – Ozark Brewing Co. and Roger’s Rec.

Brewski’s will have a sidewalk seating area facing Dickson Street. The restaurant will provide a buffet-style lunch daily, he says.

Pearson sold Play It Again Sam’s, at 318 W. Dickson St., to Jim and Teresa Huson, who converted the restaurant into Doe’s Eat Place.

Both buildings are owned by Pearson and his father, Tom Pearson, a Fayetteville lawyer.
