Duck Head closing store

By the end of February, Duck Head Apparel Inc. plans to close its clearance store in the Factory Outlet Stores shopping center in Springdale.

Lex Cannon, the store manager, says the Duck Head company is for sale.

“They’re downsizing a little bit to make it a little more attractive to buyers,” he says.

The company is based in Winder, Ga., and most of its stores are located in the Deep South.
