Episcopal Diocese Refinances Church

Larry E. Maze, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas, signed for a $1.5 million refinancing of St. Thomas Episcopal Church at 2898 48th St. in Springdale. The loan, which was received March 23, was through Metro National Bank.

The property includes 10 acres, and the church holds about 250 people. Its entry ways feature marble floors and the facility includes a parish hall, kitchen, four Sunday school class rooms and a nursery.
