Keith and Kaye Reese of 20296 Garner Road in Gentry bought a second poultry farm March 15 for $612,000. They received a mortgage from Regions Bank in Rogers for the property and chicken houses on the 7.8-acre farm at 20200 Bill Young Road in Gentry.
The addition will allow Reese, who contracts with Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale, to produce 20,000 to 22,000 six-week broilers and more than 80,000 Cornish hens. The Reeses already produce around 30,000 birds on their original farm.
