Sizzlin Summer Music Fest Heats up Paris, AR

PARIS, AR, August 29, 2009/PRESS RELEASE/ — The Chamber of Commerce in Paris, AR is excited to host the “Sizzlin Summer Music Fest” August 29th, 2009 at the North Logan County Fairgrounds in Paris, Arkansas.

The Sizzlin Summer Music Fest will bring three well-known bands who have acquired quite a following in the genre of Red Dirt Music, defined as country music with an attitude, some say it’s a state of mind as much as it is a sound – a sound that successfully closes the gap between rock and country.

Willie Stradlin brings a mix of southern rock/country and alternative music to the stage. If you like rowdy southern rock and roll, you won’t want to miss this show.

Charlie Robison, an American singer/songwriter with country music roots, writes from a perspective that draws from experiences on life in these times.

The Eli Young Band will rock the stage with their boundless mix of modern country and solid roots-rock inspirations, Their hit “When It Rains” was nominated for Group Video of the year by the CMT Music Awards.
