Indian pipe maker Man Industries will not build a $100 million manufacturing plant at the port of Little Rock that was to employ 300, according to this report from Talk Business.
The new facility was also to serve as the North American headquarters for Man Industries.
Scott Hardin with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission said the project has been canceled and no incentive money between the state and the company changed hands. A spokesman for Mike Beebe tells Talk Business the Governor is disappointed, but will work hard to replace the lost potential investment.
