Comstar Enterprises

Comstar Enterprises is a third-generation family-owned and operated full truckload refrigerated carrier. The company provides transportation services to the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest regions of the country.

Founder and CEO William “Bill” Ferguson has more than 50 years in the trucking business. He has been a driver, broker and owner/operator of trucking companies. He founded Comstar Enterprises in 1995, beginning with 15 trucks and only a handful of customers who would book loads with a small company. The company now has more than 75 trucks and 110 trailers. The company opened a maintenance shop in Tontitown in 2011.

The company has earned carrier of the year awards from some of the largest customers in the country, including Tyson Foods, Schreiber Foods and Schwan’s.
