Jaqueline “Jackie” Stretch Bowlet, 77, of Fort Smith, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025.

Born on August 27, 1948, Jackie lived a life filled with love, faith, and unwavering positivity. She retired from Horizon Treatment Center after many years of dedicated service.

Jackie’s pride and joy was always her family, especially her beloved granddaughter, Dakotah. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who welcomed everyone with open arms and a warm smile. No matter the challenges life brought, Jackie faced them with grace, optimism, and a deep belief in the power of prayer.

An avid collector of antiques, Jackie found joy in preserving pieces of the past while creating cherished memories with those she loved.

She is survived by her son Steven Sanders and daughter-in-law Donna of Fort Smith; son Jeffery Brown and daughter-in-law Laura of Fort Smith; son Christopher Brown of Talequah, OK; and granddaughter Dakotah Amplo of Fort Smith.

A memorial service celebrating Jackie’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Jackie’s memory, or to an organization supporting faith and prayer ministries.

Jackie will be deeply missed, but her radiant smile, steadfast faith, and boundless love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
