Joe Ernest Kibler

Joe Ernest Kibler, 66, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 in Fort Smith. He was born October 14, 1959 in Fort Smith to the late Jr. and Flossie (Thomas) Kibler. He was an auto mechanic and a lifelong member of Kibler Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Kibler.

He is survived by two daughters, Kourtney Smith and husband Ben of Springdale, and Kamy Howitz and husband Tanner of Auburn, WA; a brother, Ken Kibler and wife Sally of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Lydia Smith, Beck Smith, and Huey Howitz; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved dogs, Kona and Booger.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Kibler Methodist Church with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Howitz, Ben Smith, Bill Kibler, Jeff White, Mark Myers Sr., and Daniel Barnes.
