Steven Dean Horn, Sr., 70, of Mulberry, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Born October 26, 1955 in Fort Smith to the late Bobby Dean and Viola Joanne (Harp) Horn, Steve was the oldest of six children and grew up with a strong work ethic and a love for simple, down-to-earth living. He spent most of his life working in roofing, where his hard work, determination, and no-nonsense attitude left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was an active member of the North Graphic New Hope Regular Baptist Church in Mountainburg.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (“Keke”) Horn of the home; along with their children, Steven Horn (Brittney) of Mountainburg, Stephanie Horn of Greenwood, Alicia Ferguson (Jesse) of Cedarville, and Armin Horn (Michaela) of Cedarville. He was a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Randy Horn of Fort Smith, Connie Westbrook of Van Buren, Regina Speer of Van Buren, Ladonna Marsh (Dean) of Greenwood, and Bobby Horn (Ann) of Van Buren, and numerous relatives and friends.
A family-hosted celebration of Steven’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2025 at the North Graphic New Hope Regular Baptist Church at 10421 Graphic Cutoff Road in Mountainburg. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
