Greg Seal, 65, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in Fort Smith. He was born February 12, 1960 in Santa Maria, California to the late Vernie and Evelyn (Swindle) Seal. Greg was the dad to four kids, who believed that nothing was more important than family and his relationship with Jesus. He worked in the automotive repair industry for more than twenty years and for Farm Bureau Insurance as a claims adjuster for the past three years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his eldest brother, Harlan Seal.

He is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Schneider and husband David of Mulberry, Bethany Osborne and husband Zach of Greenbriar, and Emily Turner and husband Brian of Navarre, Florida; a son, Martin Seal and wife Cole of Las Vegas; three sisters, Lyn Miller and husband Bob of Fort Smith, Kathy Seal of Alma, and Bonnie Miller and husband Ron of Mount Aukum, California; four brothers, Jesse Seal and wife Joyce of Alma, Norris Seal and wife Barbara of Mountainburg, Joe Seal and wife Laura of Alma, and Roy David Seal and wife Rene of Sweet Home, Oregon; and ten grandchildren, Caleb (Alyssa), Jacob, and Kacey Seal, Logan, Gabriel, Rowan, and Gideon Schneider, Eliza and Ezekiel Osborne, and Dax Turner; and one great-granddaughter, Coralie Seal.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Martin Seal, David Schneider, Zach Osborne, Brian Turner, Rob Seal, and Matt Savinsky.

In lieu of flowers, we simply ask that you do something with your family. As Greg told his kids many times, “don’t spend your money on me, spend it on something with your family.” That is how we can honor him the most.
