Dewight Leroy Miller

Dewight Leroy Miller, 77, of Van Buren, AR passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday October 14, 2025. He was born in Fort Smith to the late Cecil and Ina (Moss) Miller on August 26, 1948. He was a long time engineer for both Frisco and Burlington Northern Railroad before a career as owner of Miller Greenhouses. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sondra Miller, a son, Shannon Miller, a brother, Jeffrey Miller and sister, Cecilia Wagnon.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Poole and husband Tommy of Van Buren; a sister Lynne Miller and husband Brian of Van Buren; five grandchildren, Callie Walter (Kyle), Collin Poole (Allie), Sarah Michael (Travis), Ashleigh Cottrell (Quinton) and Brandon Miller; six great-grandchildren, Caroline, Jackie, Andy, Lincoln, Graham and Briggs.

The family will visit with relatives and friends from 5-7 P.M. on Wednesday October 22, 2025 at Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.
