Betty Jean Morton Angus

Betty Jean Morton Angus, 91, of Fort Smith passed away on Saturday August 23, 2025 in Fort Smith. She was born November 1, 1933 in Muldrow, OK to Andy and Bertha (Allison) Morton. She was a retired accountant. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack O’Callan Angus and her son Patrick Angus; four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by one sister, Mary Vanderheiden of Fort Smith and several nieces and nephews.

Private burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Oklahoma under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
