Robert Ray Elebario of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 26, 2025, in Heart of Hospice Inpatient Unit at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on April 14, 1939, in Newkirk, New Mexico, to the late Luis Elebario and Julia (Ortega) Elebario. He was 86 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eva (Basher) Elebario; and a son, Robbie Elebario.
Robert served 4 years in the United States Army, and for many years, he worked on the pipeline and was a member of the Labor’s Union.
He is survived by a sister, Betty Austin of North Dakota; a brother, Tony Elebario of New Mexico; his grandchildren whom he raised as his own, Jennifer Hebel, Chana Vandiver and Bobby Vandiver; (8) grandchildren; (16) great-grandchildren; and (7) great-great-grandchildren.
