Gene Chesney

Grady Eugene Chesney, who resided near Booneville, Arkansas, died Sunday, July 13, 2025, at his home. He was born on May 29, 1938, in Plainview, Arkansas, to the late Grady Aubrey Chesney and Gertrude (Jones) Chesney. He was 87 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 29 years, Bonnie Jean (Elam) Chesney; and a daughter, Jill.

Gene served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired car radio repairman.

He is survived by three daughters, Bobbi Espinoza and husband John of Monterey, California, Jodi Chesney of Fort Smith, and Tammy Chesney-Francis and husband Sal of Monterey, California; a son, Steven Chesney of Sonora, California; (9) grandchildren, Jason Lindholm, Caleb Hussey, Cara Aldetre, Aubre Banks, Grace Middleton, Sarah Loux, Ashley Fernandez, Dylan Chesney, and Bailey Arredondo; and (10) great-grandchildren.
