Michael William O’Bryan

Michael William O’Bryan, 77, of Johnson, AR passed away peacefully in his home on July 4, 2025. He was born on February 28, 1948 in Fort Smith, AR to the late James W. and Wilma (Johnson) O’Bryan. He worked many years in the telephone industry and enjoyed to travel, take pictures and spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his three sons, Sean O’Bryan and wife Ashley, William O’Bryan, Colin O’Bryan and wife Bi; a brother, James P. O’Bryan and wife Doris; his half brothers and sisters, Erin O’Bryan, Sherry Bruto and husband Dale, David O’Bryan and wife Jackie, Jane Morton and husband Steve; grandchildren, Owen, Alistair, Sinclair, Leon and Miles; Lori West with whom Michael raised three sons and four fine grandsons.

The family will visit with relatives and friends from 4-6 P.M. on Wednesday July 9, 2025 at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. 700 Jefferson St. The family will lay Michaels remains to rest with his mother at Gracelawn Cemetery at 2P.M on Friday July 11, 2025. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
