22nd Annual Nutcracker

Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, and all their friends return
for two delightful performances. The production gives the community, the
Western Arkansas Ballet Company, local children and professional dancers an
opportunity to perform Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker. Features two professional
artists, Holly Tall Chief, adjunct faculty with the University
of Oklahoma, and Astrit Zejnati,
principal dancer with Ballet Arizona.
Tall Chief dances the Sugar Plum Fairy and makes an appearance at the Sugar
Plum Fairy Tea. Zejnati dances the Cavalier. More than 100 local children and
adults have been chosen to perform. The role of Clara be danced by Alyssa
Grimsley of Southside
High School. Also a Sugar
Plum Fairy Tea following the morning performance. Meet the cast and crew plus
have your picture taken. $15 and $20.
