America’s Car-Mart Inc. announced Thursday (June 13) it’s opened a dealership in Bryant. The new dealership is the first opening of fiscal 2020 for the Bentonville-based buy here, pay here used car dealer and the company’s 36th dealership in Arkansas.

Car-Mart has been opening dealerships that are managed by top-performing general managers. The new dealership in Bryant will be managed by Aaron Davis, with the assistance of Tiffany May, and it will be the third dealership that Davis will manage.

The Bryant dealership is one of a few dealerships the company plans to open in fiscal 2020, which started May 1. The company also plans to open dealerships in Conway and Chattanooga, Tenn., but the latter dealership opening has faced floodplain and regulation issues. The company had 144 dealerships open at the end of fiscal 2019.

Shares of Car-Mart (NASDAQ: CRMT) were trading Thursday morning at $88.60, up 93 cents or 1.06%. In the past 52 weeks, the stock has ranged between $104.05 and $60.55.
