C-Suite: Lisa Bridgers

Achievements: Bridgers implemented progressive HR practices at Rockfish; co-creator and emcee for the Women in the Workforce conference; member of the Executive Advisory Council for the Inseitz Group’s Women’s Empowerment Initiative; co-leader of the Young Women Professionals Academy within the Ignite program at Bentonville schools.

What is your biggest passion, and why? Helping women of all ages successfully enter and navigate the work place and to do so while being their authentic selves. Had I known then what I know now, I would have spent less time trying to fit myself to what others wanted, and more time leveraging the unique skills and capabilities I offer.

What was your first job? Shift supervisor at Taco Tico in Rogers.

Are you active on social media? If so, which platforms are you most active? Not really, but when I do use social media, it’s usually Facebook or LinkedIn.

What is your favorite thing to do when you are not working? Anything outdoors: camping, hiking, fishing, gardening, swimming

What’s something interesting about you that people would be surprised to learn? I was the Arkansas State Dairy Princess when I was 16 years old and drank milk with Bill Clinton at the state capitol to proclaim June as dairy month.

What time do you get up on workday mornings? 6 a.m.

What is the next big personal or career challenge you plan to take on? Learning a second language.
